The Atlantic Middle States Association of the National Society, Sons of the American Revolution, is composed of seven societies: Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the District of Columbia of the Mid-Atlantic District and New York and New Jersey of the North Atlantic District.  There are 15 Districts in the SAR.   Each year, at the Annual Congress, a Vice President General is elected to oversee the activities of each of the 15 Districts. Larry McKinley was elected Vice President General of the Mid-Atlantic District during the 121st Annual Congress in Winston-Salem, NC, on July 12, 2011.  North Atlantic District VPG's serve two terms.  Bill Woodworth was elected for the first of his two terms in Cleveland.
